And where would you go on holiday?

...people to see. Well, not really. More like 'we went to the Umbrella Museum in Ashby de la Zouch and it was GREAT.' If there is such a thing, that is.

And where would you go on holiday?

OK, so my ambitions are a bit less than BigFlower's :)

We haven't been on holiday for ages. We've made long weekends of lots of things, but not actually been away for a week since C was born. C has never seen the sea up close.

So, we want to go to a cottage somewhere with beaches for a week in September. Max 2 hours drive from home, which gives us the Bristol Channel between Minehead and Mumbles, and the south coast between Exmouth and Portsmouth.

Where would you go?

I would go either to the Mumbles because I love that area, or Exmouth because it's not far from other good stuff inland...

We had a great time in Brean last year in September. It's mostly caravan parks but there is one farmhouse with cottage attached. It's about 100m from the beach, a short drive from Weston for a proper seaside experience, but the beach at Brean is lovely and quiet with acres of sand.

We had a great week just outside of Weymouth in sept a couple of years ago - loads to do for little ones and some nice beaches nearby

Most beautiful day of a week is holiday. And my most favorite place is my little home. Try to spend a holiday at home
