Easter holiday house swap anyone?

...people to see. Well, not really. More like 'we went to the Umbrella Museum in Ashby de la Zouch and it was GREAT.' If there is such a thing, that is.

Easter holiday house swap anyone?

Postby Svea » 05 Feb 2014, 14:59

Planning on going somewhere during the week 7th to 11th April 2014 (first week of the easter school holidays). We have house swapped three times before and love it. We have two older girls and a baby and our house, in return, is a 4 bed house with sleeping for 7 people, right next to a park and playground and with great access into london on public transport. We are in SE london.

anyone?

We might be interested or are we too far? We need to go down to London to see family and you are on the trainline to the ILs. 5 bed farm in rural Central Scotland

Ah man! If only we had a house to offer you Kat! I would kill for a bit of farmyard living in Scotland! Alas, even the house we are moving to is only 2 bed until we complete our renovation works...
Now proud Mummyto3 little crazies!

I swapped with Svea last year and her house is lovely :D I'm sure it's even better now with the new loft conversion!

Not sure, A_W, something interesting, around 4 to 5 hour drive? I think Kat's house would be very tempting for a summer swap, DH doesn't fancy it for Easter (too cold he reckons).

We only need 5 beds or equivalent. A 3 bedroom house sounds fine. I'll pm details.

Brighton 2-3 bed semi with a garden up for grabs... :D

Big double in our room, 2 kids' beds in one bedroom and the 3rd bedroom is technically an office but could set up a cot or camp bed in there - or an extra mattress on the floor of the boys' room. 10 mins from centre of town/beach and pretty countryside...

We'd be prepared to drive 3-4 hours away for a swap I reckon. Any takers? Kat, is Brighton too far for you to see the ILs? It's about an hour up to London on the train.

We can't do Easter, but if anyone fancied a few days in London in the summer..?
We have two bedrooms, can sleep 2adults, 2 children and a baby in a cot. Small garden, very close to shops etc, very close to the tube station, 20-30mins to baker st. Very 'naice' safe suburb. No need for a car.
We just need somewhere that can be got to without a car...
