Hope everyone's doing well, I've been out of the loop as I'm away but back at the weekend. Did I miss anything exciting?

I have my 20 week scan a week today, by which point I will be 22+4, a little stunned at how quickly it's going! Less than 4 months of work left which feels strange. Feeling lots of movement which I'm loving, and DH can feel it on the outside too now. We've decided not to find out the gender, but I have strong boy vibes. With R I was convinced she was a girl. Have any of you had a hunch about the gender and been right?

Me, I was right both times. Although as MrC would say, 50% chance of being right is good odds! However, I knew.

Apparently the odds of the mum being right are higher than 50/50, it's low 70s.

I was utterly convinced squish was a girl, but I still called him 'he' when I was pg so maybe I knew subconsciously?

Really? That's amazing that the mums are right more often. Where did you read that?

I didn't *know* Dylan was a boy, although I really wanted him to be, but my Mum knew. I *knew* Isaac was a boy, and I had a hunch with this one too but wasn't sure like I felt with Isaac.

The sonographer who did our private gender scan at the weekend said that generally Mums do seem to *know* somehow..

My DH was absolutely convinced SM was a girl, think if the sonographer had said differently he wouldnt have believed her lol.

With CM I thought she would probably be a girl, I also told DH during labour that she'd have brown hair, which she does lol. SM is a proper blondie.

It was when I was pg with muncher somewhere online. No idea where. I'll have a nose around when I'm up in the night.

I *knew* dd was a boy!! ;) everyone else also thought I was having a boy.

Ds1 I was also certain of a boy as the pregnancy was very different to dd's.

Ds2, dh wanted a girl so I think convinced himself, and me a bit, that it was a girl. Everyone around us thought it was a girl from my bump etc. deep down though I was never sure & while we had a girls name set we didn't have a boys which worried me so I think I knew really he was a boy!

I knew with all three of mine, and was right with all three.

MY BIL and SIL 'knew' they were having a boy, he was called Matthew. They had a bit of a shock on Christmas Day when their daughter arrived!! She was nameless for a couple of days as they were so sure she was a boy that they didn't have a girl's name.

I was convinced DD was a boy. The medical staff did a sterling job of not letting it slip, considering I had 9 scans and 3 fetal MRIs! Had a girl's name picked 'just in case' but we really didn't give it anywhere near as much thought as boys names. Most people thought she was going to be a boy...

I was right with munchkin - and the fact this pregnancy was identical made me feel this one was a girl, too. One right and one wrong!

Interestingly, we had a boy's name secure for munchkin, but not a girl's. For Hugo, the girl name was decided months ago - his name only got settled in the labour room!!

Just had my first appointment with a new doctor. The little lentil is 8mm long and I saw the heartbeat. Due 26th August. Oh dear Lord I'm having another baby! What were we thinking? So excited and so freaked out at the same time!

I have no real inkling this time at all. Was wrong with A so not giving it too much thought... I just can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. Have been off sick this week - when I go back in monday I'll only have 5 weeks left before mat leave. Eek!

I've had no real idea either time, so I've just waited to find out at the ultrasound. I think it could be a girl this time because the pregnancy has been different, but I could equally believe it is a boy. Just two more weeks to wait until we have our anatomy scan and find out for sure!
