Mmm Jaffa cakes, I had those too in hospital lol. Good luck PH, can't wait to hear all about it.

I also get the heartbeat in ears thing when not pregnant, don't know why, and not as regularly as you sound to be getting it, but i do lol.

And yey to oxygen nmtbfk, hope it helps and you can get some well earned sleep.

Oooh, today's the day ph, at least over here it is! It's 5am and I woke up thinking of you and your little boy. Hoping it all goes smoothly and you enjoy NOT being pregnant anymore.

Glad to hear about the oxygen nm, really hope it helps.

38 weeks today. I found out last week my platelets have dropped to just below the homebirth cutoff so I might have to birth in hospital :( I get them retested today, hopefully they have gone back up. I had a lovely bout of gastro yesterday. That combined with being huge, having two pus filled skin infections on my legs and being covered in a rash from being allergic to the antibiotics for the infections, is making me feel particularly unattractive. Like a big ball of disease.

How's everyone else doing? VC, you still around?

Oh, jw, sounds rubbish. Have some hugs ((( ))). The second pregnancy is hard enough - why must we be inflicted with the additional woes

Good luck for everything to go smoothly tomorrow ph!

I am still here (thanks for thinking of me! :) ) 33 weeks, still loads of Braxton Hicks, very glad I got her to check me last week as I know that I hadn't made any progress then at all... meaning I can ignore these unless they feel very real. :)

I do have a crazy amount of hip pain though - massage is helping, which is good. Don't think he is dropping or anything, but pretty sure everything is getting ready to give him the space. Can't sleep, can't roll over, heartburn is killer... but otherwise I am lovely! ;) Planning J's birthday party for next weekend (he is a Valentine's day baby) and that is keeping me occupied.

jw - that sounds very awful. :( Hoping you test so you can still birth at home...
NM - hopefully the oxygen helps loads... worst is being in pain with nothing to do for it. :(

Pg insomnia has well and truly hit, I was awake most of the night which lead to lots of worrying... Gah, hoping a visit to see my new nephew this weekend will improve how I am feeling. I seem to be getting bombarded by people telling me how awful 3 children is :(

T&N, we are too - someone told DH yesterday that people stop inviting you over when you have 3! I'm trying not to think about it too much, we will all cope, one way or another!
