(((Mindy))) that's appalling, hope you are beginning to feel a little calmer and that the test results come through speedily.

Thank you all - am able to put it a bit more in perspective after 2 hours at swimming lessons with the other two. Ultimately the risk is low, and we are having further tests to confirm this, so I have a lot to be thankful for. It's times like this I realise what an emotional crutch alcohol is: I could murder a brandy!

(((mindy))) What an emotional day for you! Glad that the risk is much lower than what you were originally told, and I hope the further tests show that everything is fine.

We're struggling with names here too. We have a girl's name (but not middle name) picked out, but we are completely lost if it is another boy! Won't find out what we're having for another month and a half or so though, so trying not to drive myself too crazy thinking up names, and dh seems unconcerned so far.

Ugh, I feel rough. Think I overdid it today - Izbiz was at nursery so I did housework all day, punctuated with a brief but adrenaline-fuelled work pitch phonecall. Now I feel like fainting.

I hope the results all come back quickly and normal for you Mindy x

I've had to just accept that dh refuses to discuss names before baby is here! Comes from the fact that Toots' name wasn't on any of our lists, we decided on it after she was born, so he thinks that's the way forward :? He also doesn't like the one boys name I like - claims it's unspellable and unpronouncable :( *sigh*

And *still* haven't finished packing the hospital bag (5 days to go till due date...!)

This is probably the kind of thing I should keep to myself but it is making me laugh so I though I would share for your entertainment... I have just left DH and FIL downstairs and taken myself off to bed on the pretence of being tired as I have such bad pain from trapped wind that I really needed to lie down and fart loudly for a while. I was actually starting to panic a little bit as I was in pain and started thinking somethign was up until I realised what it was, and now, ahhhhh, the relief! Mwahahaha, they'll never know :mona

You're welcome t&nm :D

16 wk appt this morning, and got to hear a lovely strong heartbeat. Took her a minute to find it which was a bit nerve wracking! She also very kindly offered me an appt in two weeks to hear it again before we go away as I won't have my next scam till 22 weeks as we're away over Christmas.

That had me laughing too RR!

We had an appointment this morning too (13.5 weeks) and got to hear the heartbeat with the doppler for the first time. :) My uterus is only just starting to come up from my pelvis so it did take him quite a bit of poking around and I thought we might not be able to hear it, but he did eventually find it and it sounded good and strong!
