Recurrent miscarriages/pregnancy loss

Postby Kmac225 » 29 Oct 2014, 12:21

Before I had my son (now 7months), I had 4 miscarriages, and never found a reason why. I am now pregnant again and am wondering if anyone has been in this situation...are my chances of miscarrying again much less since my last pregnancy went along great? FYI all early losses before 8-9 weeks. Only difference with my last pregnancy was taking progesterone, which I'm doing now too but the doctor seemed like it was not definite progesterone would do anything, more of a placebo than anything. Due In June and ultra sound tomorrow to look for a heartbeat....hoping it's there!

I don't know the answer, but just wanted to say how sorry I am for what you've been through, and how fantastic you have your lovely, healthy son. Lots of luck for uss, let us know how you get on.

How did the ultrasound go? (((hugs))) for all the losses you have been through, and I hope things are different for you this time.
