20 week scan is done and baby looks fine. My placenta is low so I have to have another scan at 34 weeks (23rd December great!) to check it's moved, although I'm having an elective section anyway. Still vomiting, I have more energy so attempted to reduce my medication again but vomiting increased so it's looking like I will be on them throughout pregnancy. Feeling uncomfortable in the evenings now, which seems much earlier than with B. Dying to sleep on my front again!

Good luck to biddy and Kanga :)

Yay p_h, glad the scan was good. Sorry to hear you're still puking though :(

(((Fozza))) missed your post the other day. Glad your midwife is understanding but grrr at them moving scan dates around. Hope the appointment comes round quickly for you.

How are you doing biddy? Quietly hoping you haven't posted cos you are busy elsewhere! :)

((())) to all who need them.

Ph I remember that feeling of wanting to sleep on my tummy again too. It feels bliss now I can. It was one if the first questions I asked the midwife after G was born lol

Yay for good scans! But massive boos to sickness and worry. Hugs all round... I hope Biddy's silence means things are moving along... I'm fairly fed up of feeling pants now. Where is my 2nd trimester bloom???

Also, had quite a few 'funny turns' this week. In the mornings after shower etc, but this morn after a few chores. Just feel odd, fuzzy headed, heavy in the stomach somehow, heart beating hard...and have to lie down down to let it pass... Any insight? Just general.pregnant weirdness? My darling daughter is currently getting all her doctor equipment to look after me.. I could cry

Nearlymum have you had your iron level checked recently? Or are you dehydrated? I expect it's something to do with your body getting used to the pregnancy, having to increase blood volume & work harder etc, but worth a call to your mw and a bp check if you're worried (())

I haven't had iron checked, but I'm living on a diet of rubbish, as it's all I can stomach. So I wouldn't be surprised. Could probably do to drink more too. I'll up my game and see how I fare. Thanks

Hugs to all of you feeling rubbish.

Hope the silence from biddy is good news and she's far too busy cuddling a squishy newborn the check in with us :D

(((PH))) hope your medication supply is plentiful and not a fight for the rest of the pregnancy.

Nearlymum, I hope things settle for you soon, nothing worse than looking forward to 12.weeks then still feeling rubbish.

Hi RR * waves*

I had my first scan this week, 18 weeks. My dream about twins was wrong, there's just one there. It's all looking good, which is such a relief. Last pregnancy a worry never crossed my mind, but after Koala's health problems ( and a close friend pregnant with a very sick baby) my naivety has gone.

Yay for good scans JW. Even without health problems or anything, I found the second one much more worrying. Something to do with actually having a baby making me realise what was really at stake.

Yay JW
Hope biddy is ok.
My bump is so sore today and DH decided to invite his bro & family round. Brilliant.

Hope they've gone and you're relaxing now, Fozza.

My mum's coming over tomorrow and I have a definite bump, so I don't think I'll be able to get away with hiding it. And once she knows, we'll have to tell the ILs too. Am dreading it, and wishing I could keep this to myself a bit longer, at least until my scan in 10 days. Not that they'll be anything but thrilled, but I'm just not ready for the overprotectiveness and incessant discussion of baby. I really hate the way your body becomes public property when you're pregnant, just when I'm feeling most private and possessive of this amazing relationship. My ILs are incredibly caring and loving people but I just find them a bit overwhelming sometimes, and my mum's very supportive but she totally lacks any sense of tact or appropriate boundaries. I just don't want to share my baby yet.
