You're not on your own. DH takes (prescribed) drugs that could affect sperm so it's a waiting game. Take the folic acid now. It wasn't a happy moment telling DH but I think if I was happier about it that would have helped. You sound happy. There is never a right time for a baby. The special ones force themselves into your family.

(((Mindy))) Glad you're happy! I hope you start to get used to the idea before too long, and that the joy of a new life on its way can erase the feeling of "oops" for you and all your family and friends.

I am happy Maggie, very happy - scared, worried, guilty, but happy. Just need to find the right time to tell him. I'm sorry about your fears, how long until you can have a detailed scan? I had a cvs last time, it wasn't nice but everything was ok. Am hoping and praying everything will be for you and I this time too.

I can't tell you all how comforting your posts have been throughout today.

I told him last night that I was late, and we did a test together this evening - still positive. After some head-holding, he said that he has no doubt he will love another child as much as the girls but could we please stop after this one! So all very positive. I'm so relieved. Am taking folic acid (belatedly) and will contact surgery to arrange a booking- in appointment for when we get back from holiday. France isn't going to be quite as much fun without wine and soft cheese, but I'm so relieved. Fingers crossed it all works out.

Thank you for all your reassurances and kind words x x
