Pregnancy updates - June

Postby Kitcameron » 01 Jun 2014, 05:41

Squeeee, Im in labour.

And with no induction other than two membrane sweeps. Been timing contractions all night, well I did cat nap for a bit. Getting to the point where I may have to go in soon due to need for more painkillers.

Hopefully be updating you with good news soon.

Grrr, everything has stopped.

We'd got to 45second-1minute contractions every 6 minutes or so at 7am this morning and then suddenly everything tailed off. I'm sort of contracting about every 20 minutes or so at the minute but they're not very intense.

Might be induction after all.

Sorry to hear it has stopped! Hopefully your body is now well primed and induction will be quick and easy!

KC I meant to say to you, once my anaesthetic wore off, about 10 hours after delivery...my SPD was gone! I know everyone is different but fingers crossed that everything gets moving for you and that you are in much less pain really soon. ((()))

I have a random question. Is it OK to wear Spanx when you're pregnant? For a few hours at a party?

Spanx as in those underwear that pull your wobbly bits in and make you look streamlined under clothes

Oooh, kc! Exciting times!

I may have just overdone it mowing the lawn... But have to keep up appearances. Mother hasn't said anything yet, so she may not have twigged. However, she isn't trying to get me drunk like normal, so maybe she has and just has more tact not to say anything than I've given her credit for...
