One wriggly little bub present and correct. I'd got myself so worked up there were tears of relief! Scan makes me 13 weeks today, only a day or 2 out by my reckoning so happy with that. Dd was very excited!! :)

That's great news Kanga! I've got my 33 week scan tomorrow, taking DS again after I swore is never take him to a scan again, so we'll see how that goes!

I went in to work, handed in my sick note, did my maternity paperwork, cleaned out my desk and now I'm done! Not due back there until 12 may 2015!

Yey SM, make sure DH knows this time is for relaxing and taking it easy not child care, don't push yourself. I overdid it this morning pushing G to the park and the to the coffee shop for tea and cake with a friend and now I'm paying for it.

Had my 33 (should have been 34 but we're away next week) week midwife appt this afternoon and all is fine apart from baby lying diagonally and my iron levels borderline, must eat more dark chocolate lol.

Feel really huge today, even DH said I look suddenly bigger and he's very unobservant usually lol.

Sorry I missed your update KC. Hope you are feeling better. I had my 33 week scan on Thursday, it was good, DS came and was really good and was imitating the whooshing noises of the placenta blood flow and making me laugh. Baby is head down and in good position, even though it doesn't matter. Baby on track to be same size as DS (7lb 2oz) but I am skeptical as they told me that DS would be 8lb 10!

I have been ok this weekend but last night was awful I just feel like I can't breathe. Almost like if I don't tell myself to breathe then I won't. It's so awful and I'm freaking out a little bit which is making it worse. It's not breathlessness like I had previously. Maybe it's all in my head. Hopefully it improves soon!

Not having a great day so far. The pregnancy insomnia is really bad and I only got 2 hours sleep at most. Consequently I have no patience for my LO today. I've already snapped at her for drawing on the bed with a lipstick that I left in a reachable place, and various other minor things like wriggly nappy changes and trying to get the car seat buckled. Everything also seems to be aching or tingling - pelvis with shooting pains now down both legs, carpel tunnel in both hands rather than just the usual one, and pins and needles in my feet too. Not to mention the swollen ankles. Have also been snapping the head off my poor DH all weekend so he'll probably stay late at work tonight to get some peace. Please baby come when you are due (less than 3 weeks now) cos I don't think I have the energy to go 2 weeks over this time.

(((Bigcat))) i really hope your day improves. I'm starting to feel the strain too, I'm so short-tempered and tired at the mo.

Had my 20wk scan today. All looks well with baby. I saw his (??) little jaw moving up and down as he practiced sucking :) very cute. I didn't find out the gender but I'm pretty certain it's a boy. DH was with me this time. At one point the sonographer mentioned my due date, I hope DH didn't hear. He was busy with the kids at the time. I still plan to give him a due date a month or so after the real one. I'm thinking the 19th of October. So it allows the baby to be a bit late and the inlaws to still miss the birth if they decide to come three weeks earlier than my 'due date' which is what they normally do.

It occurs to me how ridiculous it is that I'm having to plot and lie like this. I don't want to, it shouldn't be this way. Why should I have to resort to deception in order to protect myself? My DH should be protecting me and caring for my health. I wanted to feel close to DH in that scanning room, sharing that special moment, but I couldn't. I've had such an awful time with him these past few days and weeks. I still can't write about anything on here. But it's been awful. And I feel a sort of emptiness towards him :'(

Oh (((biddy))) I often wonder how you & dh are Nd whether this pg has helped change things. So sorry to read your last post and sorry you are having to plot and that your dh isn't supporting you.

But yay for a healthy scan and cute sucking baby :)

Dd ran into school today telling everyone I'm having a baby so the cat is well & truly out of the bag!

(((Biddy))) I'm really sorry you are having to deal with that part of it on your own and your DH isn't supporting you and protecting you from his family as he should be.

(((Biddy))) that sounds really difficult.

I‘m feeling very ‘meh‘ today, put an offer in a a lovely house that needs a lot of work but has loads of potential, it was 9% off asking price, vendor refusing to negotiate, they want £6K more than our offer at least. £6k is so little and so much at the same time. All the other houses are so boring in comparison.

And this baby NEVER stops moving.

And I can‘t sleep.
