Pregnancy fitness DVD?

Postby Biddy » 07 Feb 2014, 21:57

Can anyone recommend one? I'm determined not to 'let myself go' too much this time. It took me so long to lose my pregnancy weight last time, plus I need to strengthen my pelvic floor. Was hoping to find a good daily routine but I don't know where to start with all the fitness DVDs!

I had this one. I could let you have it if you didn't mind paying the postage... :)

Grr

The prenatal workout seems quite badly scratched, not sure how it would work, althought the post natal one seems ok. Might not be the offer of the century ...

Reading reviews, it looks like a good one. Did you find it helpful to keep you in shape?

Oh I had this one too - it was great! I can definitely recommend it. Short enough to be realistically doable, but challenging enough to feel like it was really doing me good. And the relaxation bit at the end was blissful. Never got round to doing the postnatal bit though...

I did like it.

My problem came from eating too much in the first 6 months of ds's life due to tiredness!

I didn't do Erin O'Brien's pregnancy video (but wish I had!) - I do have her postnatal and her other two dvds which are intended as follow-ons from the postnatal one. I think they are really good and highly recommend!

Stormwind, is there any chance you could check if the scratched DVD works? If it does I'd be happy to pay the postage for it!

My problem is usually eating too much after baby's born too, but at least if I can avoid putting on too much weight during pg then it won't be do bad if I put it on afterwards. And if I can do something to prevent my pelvic floor from collapsing then that'll be good too. After having A I would barely make it to the toilet on time. I'm picturing worse scenes after having baby no.3 :? Unless I do something to prevent it

Will do, sorry I've been working late, and haven't had much chance. Sort it's taking so long

So far it's only stuck at the very beginning during the warning health message. Why don't I just send them to you? If there is a problem, don't worry about the postage I'll send them anyway and let you decide. (I've only watched the main workout, not any of the extras). Just let me know.
