I love that name and wouldn't be at all bothered by those initials.

Lol, DH has already suggested that! :D

Perhaps I am overthinking it, but having been teased for having a "different" name it's something I'm aware of!

I panicked about Roo because it rhymed with poo but so far no-one's noticed ;)

... which is a minor miracle since he's in reception now and every other word is poo...

OO is fine, and with initials like that he's bound to be a superhero. :D

I say go for it...don't think I would think twice about it if I met someone with the initials OO and it's a lovely name :)

I don't think there's anything wrong with OO. And it's a lovely name. Friends of mine have a little boy called Oren, and I really like it!

I like names that share the same initial!!!

(and the infantile side of me would have to have Xander or Noah for a middle name!!!!!)

I love the name, never heard it before. I wouldn't worry about OO, I was AA until I got married, cue at the age of 14 some bright spark calling me the 4th emergency service. It didn't bother me in the slightest, kids really will think of anything.

I also had a wobble about the name at about 37 weeks, just decided I'd gone off it. Needless to say we couldn't think of another one and when she was born it was her name and everyone compliments us on it. You'll work it out :-)
