I had a dating scan today and I'm 8 weeks + 5. Mega early days but I want to tell everyone!
Roll on August and I'm hoping for a nice cool dry summer to get me through.
Love being a mummy to the beautiful F (april 12) and especially love BLW.

Congrats Jaymlin!

The doctor managed not to recoil in disgust and said it was similar to excema but I have steroid plus anti fungal cream to cover all bases. They are already improving, I should have gone weeks ago!

Sorry but I am relieved that January people are feeling slightly unprepared as we have done nothing except swap bedrooms socwe are in the attic and dd is in our old room, leaving the tiny bedroom free although it won't be needed for a long while yet. Just as well as dh decided to start decorating it so it's a mess!

Congratulations Jaymlin, awesome news. It's so great to be able to tell people.

Glad you've got something to help SC. We are doing our tiny bedroom in Feb half term I hope so it should be ready ages I. Advance of popcorn making an appearance. We're away at Easter though with the same people who will hopefully be helping decorate ie my parents lol.

CC: Do you want to borrow my pool in case? Its all ready to go (just need plastic sheeting). I'm not going to be using it again & easy enough to get to you.

Rah, that's a very kind offer, thank you! I may just take you up on that after some vicious Braxton hicks last night. I could happily take a trip your way. Shouldn't you be asleep or something now, though?

Foo is asleep, I'm feeding & being waited on by two handsome young men, who if I only ever wanted plums, satsumas or water would be close to perfect ;)

That's brought a smile to my face, Rah! I'll pm when you've had some time to recover.

B and J sound amazing Rah! So sweet!

Just had a mega-hot bath (which I love) then I remembered that last time I was pregnant I didn't have hot baths as you're not supposed to while pregnant...but I don't remember why. Does anyone know? Is that still right?

Well if it makes you feel better I had a hot one too. Surely it can't raise your internal temp that much? Plus my bump stuck out of the water.

Dunno but I feel guilty every.time I have a.super.hot shower, which is every time the puppy isn't in with me.

Today I officially feel huge and fat and tired and out of.breath for the first time. 31 week's on tues /Wed so I.guess it's about time. Today was also manic so I'm exhausted from rushing around. Mr.C got loads of baby stuff out the loft for me.to check (yes, me, not us!) so all teeny stuff is now washed and ready and bigger stuff is resorted in to age piles.rather than just chucked in a bag. Can't tell if this is crazy organised or just.pretty sensible. Also wrote the list of all the baby crap we need to buy. Added my chosen present for me on there. Mr.C laughed at that, hopefully in a "isn't she sweet " way rather than a."not a.chance, wifey " type way!

Isn't it something to do with blood pressure and feeling dizzy when you stand up from a hot bath.

If it's this then that is no different from normal for me so I will continue to do it!

Good point Spanner, my bump sticks out too, that must make it better surely?

VERY sensible!!! I thought it was ridiculously early to be washing clothes and blankets at 30 weeks. Turns out, doing it at 37/38 weeks is really really hard! All you want to do is rest and here I am sorting and washing teeny tiny clothes. We finally finished last night though. I've just got to make sure I have enough bassinet sheets.

Here I am with my first update with bump no.3! It's very early days so maybe I'm taking a risk telling people, but it's only forum people, nobody IRL will know for a while :) I must be nearly three weeks pregnant I'm guessing. I've estimated the due date around Sep 27th, assuming this one sticks... (do they work out due date 40wks from ovulation or from date of last period?)

I'm already feeling woozy. Not quite nauseous but just a bit headachey and dizzy. I suppose that's a good sign. But memories of previous morning sickness is starting to come back to me now, ugh. And the tiredness started today. I had a nice early night but today all I want to do is sleep.
