My name is almost unique on Googling - combination of first name and surname from different cultures. I like that, and I'm a bit sad Courgette won't have the same - her names go DH's culture, my culture, surname (DH's culture) so first name surname isn't terribly unusual.

Yay. Just googled names for the puppy and newbie. Only page for the puppy is an ancestry page for someone in C17. Newbie's probable name is shared with an artist in Oxford but that's ok, there aren't millions of them at least. And mr.c's surname is at least less common than mine.
In my heart I am Rascalpup, a name awarded during battle with one persistent spammer. I like to think ironside but with sarcasm rather than an axe.

Slightly horrified by my huge number of posts.
