Ooo not sure about Laszlo then, it's just two of my friends have sons named Laszlo, one French, the other married to a French guy.

ETA if you like MKM's suggestion of Vera but want three syllables how about Verena?

Excellent. I should imagine that now Svea's child is nearly three, she will be looking to change names.
