I'm a lot right now.

What will i do with 4 kids, 3 of which will be under 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm truly terrified right now, devistaed that my homebirth and being looked after by my super midwife plans have gone compleatly out of the window.

Oh but how cute did my two little beans look side by side, yes we're doubley blessed but still a bit

I don't think you can properly get "ready" for having twins (or any child, you know?). You can't anticipate things.. you just deal with them as they come. I bet your DS is going to be a lot of help to you.. he sounds like a little star from some of your other posts.

DM we have had a few twin weaners and two people who have miscarried one of two twins. I don't think we've had twin siblings born to a BLWer yet.

one and a bonus baby! it might not feel like it but you are so lucky! hope your pregnancy is uneventful and low risk right to the end. even if a homebirth is out, i hope you will have a natural birth though.

I was really really not expecting it i've had almost no symptoms, and when the sonographer turned to me with a serious face after only a few seconds of scanning a really thought she was going to say there was no baby not two. I'm settling myself by trying to figure out some sort of twin buggy/sling combo to transport my huge brood. Oh and 3 in cloth will require a second washer i'm sure, 3 in disposeable at the cost. Right of to google breast feeding twins and vasectomy for nurseydad

I totally get how daunting the prospect of this is, but you WILL cope, because you'll have to and it will just happen and you'll deal with the challenges as and when they arise!

I know 2 people who've bf twins, one tried bottles but found it harder than bfing - she could feed both of them at once when bfing but couldn't when bottle feeding...

there are loads of twins around these parts, apparently it's because of the huge amount of older mothers here - twins are more common as women get older, your body just starts firing out as many eggs as possible in a last ditch attempt to get pg!

could the sonographer tell if they're identical or not?
