Party Time!!!

Don't panic, it's not tonight. Every so often we arrange to meet up online and talk rubbish. Not so different from the day-to-day, but with more people. Yes, it sounds naff, but just you wait... it's also oddly satisfying.

Should I leave now?

I think my uni drinks moved through Cider and Black when I first started to WKD then Vodka and Lime then Gin and Tonic and wine towards the end!

Have we been living parallel lives?!

Though I actually never did wkd or vodka and lime, just way way too much white wine...

X-posted with qbm - ha! Still can't drink much white wine...bad memories.

I replied to MIL: "There's a choice of five starters and five mains... I don't know exactly what since the menus change seasonally. However, I did make it clear that we have lots of vegetarians attending so I'm sure you'll find something you like."

Me. I had it. And Jason and Kylie. Loved them so much. Until nkotb stole my heart. I had an American copy.of jason's album so it didn't have the duet at the end. I used to listen to the empty space and wish it was there and even that there would be a special message for me.

Actually, Kylie was my first album but Jason was the first I bought.

And yes, ef, ignore mil unless you accidentally invited her to the hen. Oh, well done!

Sonia !??
My first ever actual music purchase was Shakin Stevens Green door on 7" single. Yep.
Uni tipple of choice was snakebite and black. We found a classy Irish cream liquire in Kwiksave (remember those) which cost about £5. We'd drink that before we went out.

I really don't want to bow out now but I was in work at 7am this morning until 5 with only a 20 min break and the extra wine I had tonight is catching up with me <flake>

Congratulations again EF! I had a ball tonight - was so lovely to chat to you all!

<tipsy group hug>

Night night!

MJ, we used to drink budget vodka. A few years after leaving uni we suddenly realised that it was cheap for a reason and the reason was horrendous hangovers!

I had my first hangover in a long while yesterday. Took me a while to work out why I felt so crappy.

Which song? Especially for you is in my head.

Urgh, memory of drinking a lot of some classy Irish cream liquer and not really being drunk just feeling very sick!

Night night QBM.
