Stories about LUUUURRRRVVVVEEEE

Don't panic, it's not tonight. Every so often we arrange to meet up online and talk rubbish. Not so different from the day-to-day, but with more people. Yes, it sounds naff, but just you wait... it's also oddly satisfying.

we were friends for YEARS, then drank rather a lot of tequila one night and badabing badaboom the rest is history!
DH proposed when m was a couple of months old, we were sat on the sofa in our dressing gowns and he said "you know how I really love you?" and I thought he was going to ask me to make him tea, but instead he produced an engagement ring from his dressing gown pocket :wed

We got married in Central Park, New York, in Shakespeare's garden <3

Ooh, lovely location!

DP and I were a one night thing too. Well, maybe not just one night, but he was definitely just a bit of fun for me, there were so many reasons why it wasn't ever going to be a 'proper' relationship, I had had enough of being hurt and was purely looking for a good time with the wrong guy... Ummm... he left his previous life behind him 6 weeks later, and it's our 13 yr anniversary next month!

In between the love stories, how about something a little more steamy? What's the best/most outrageous place you and your man have DTD?

Whoops, am meant to be asleep but seem yo have wandered back into the party. DH and I decided to get married when we were watching tv one day. No romance there, sniff. We had an Elvis wedding in Vegas. We took 25 people with us. Best. Day. Ever. Funniest was the confusion on the Elvis ' face when he realised I didnt actually know any Elvis songs or recognise the references in our vows. He thought I was a.proper nut job.

Funniest is the Hilton golf course in Addis Ababa. We were hammered.

I met dh on a Facebook group called 'too nice to be single' and he and I exchanged mobile numbers. He texted me constantly day and night. Before long, I felt he was my best friend even though we'd never met. He was down in Manchester one night with his mates and he invited me and my mates along. I was too shy to really talk to him. He was really confident. It took a good 5 or so meetings before we kissed. Then he asked me out on a proper date. He made stir fry and we drank two bottles of wine.

Our engagement was really not romantic. It had snowed thickly, I was 8 months pregnant with Harvey and he took me to the lake district. The road to my favourite lake was blocked with snow so we went to windermere. I was cold and dh kept suggesting we walk up icy paths. I lost patience with him and went back to the car where he proposed in the carpark. I said yes of course!

I'm afraid my inner prude gets in the way of stories of that kind from me - shall I go and join BC in the wardrobe?

Ours was on our honeymoon, at Lake Louise in the Rocky Mountains. It's a big tourist place but we snuck away from the busy path into the woods-- unaware that there was another path farther into the woods where people rode through on horses. We managed to go unseen but only just, and I could hardly keep my giggles in as all these people on horses trundled past...

On a beach, in the early hours of the new millenium. The beach was approximately 50ft from our front door, so we could have been warm and comfortable, but no, we chose to be exhibitionists :D

(yes yes, I know I'm supposed to be going...)
