Let's get this party started!

Don't panic, it's not tonight. Every so often we arrange to meet up online and talk rubbish. Not so different from the day-to-day, but with more people. Yes, it sounds naff, but just you wait... it's also oddly satisfying.

Let's get this party started!

Postby RachelS » 29 Aug 2011, 17:59

Well I have decided to start the partying early as I no longer have the stamina for late nighters.

My coats on the bed in the back room and the punch is on the side. Make sure you get the right one! Alcoholic on the left, fruity on the right.

Enjoy.
Aspiring yummy mummy but managing to be a slummy mummy to 2 gorgeous boys.

Woop woop. Dh decided to go to a mate's house last minute and M fell asleep in the car on the way back from dropping him off, so I have a sleeping child, a packet of doritos and dip and a bar of galaxy (guilt-trip presents from DH, mwaha) - oh and possibly The Very First bunch of flowers he's EVER bought me. Shocking stuff.

My glad rags are unfortunately a pair of holey leggings and an extra-large t-shirt. And I haven't even brushed my hair today.

Hahah my FB friends from my raving days gone by think I'm a right boring cow now, I get such funny emails from them telling me how shocked they are and actually when I think about it, I would never have pictured myself like I am now lol!

Quick pop in but since we have another estate agent coming tomorrow the entire house needs to be cleaned again (damn bank holidays and a houseful of people) so won't be back till later.

I'm here, drowning my sorrows as Kiera's 2nd bedtime in a bed isn't going too well. DP is sat with her at the moment, we can't even leave her to cc now, as she keeps opening her bedroom door and running round like a loony, and climbing all over Thom. Aaaaargh!
Hopefully dp will work his magic on her and I can relax with you lot :D
Thom May 07 and Kiera Sept 09 - I don't really have an excuse to be here still!!

Pulls up a chair next to PM and helps herself to the large Guinness in the fridge. If I'm going to neglect my child I may as well also be drunk. (Bloody tempting, but have to drive to pick up DH in a few hours.)

I'm here, but cleaning up bolognese and trifle leftovers... but I have red wine.

<tries to cheer up those in the corner>

So what games have we got to play tonight? Apart from a sweepstake on when passata's baby arrives...
My peas are gone as well as my marbles.

I'm here for now too but may also duck out early! Too stuffed to eat or drink a single thing though at the moment - had dinner at MIL's this evening and she fed me up a treat. Am in holey grubby jeans with the buttons undone and todays smelly vest! Rock and roll!

In monkey pjs.

Also in corner as very unsociable and generally avoiding ppl! Great party material.

I did have a pair of matching PJs on but DD2 puked down me at bedtime so I now have a huge pile of washing and a mismatched pair of too small PJs on with a big belly hanging out the gap between top and bottom. Lovely :D
