Been busy since the start of the party...

-wrangling an over-excited toddler into submission with Finding Nemo (perhaps not the best choice, involved lots of running around screaming "SHARK!")...
-putting said toddler to bed with bucketfuls of 'My Naughty Little Sister' stories...
-eating jacket potatoes and being Universally Challenged...
-cutting 4 inches off my own hair, with layers.

Think the virtual alcohol has gone to my head a bit!

HA! Did you see the look on the mums face when she came in to the room? A combination of "I'm about to have a grandson" and "I remember what my labour was like". Lovely.

Ahhh see, OBEM made me miss the rest of the party. Hormone overspill lead to wailing and gnashing of teething and "I want another babeeeeeee" sobbing from which I've only just recovered.

I should be writing a letter from the trustee board to the manager of the association that I need to be agreed by 12 other people and delivered by about 2 weeks ago to avert a possible crisis but I am reading a lot here and eating honeycomb.

Damn - who left the Bombay Sapphire lying around, Gin always brings the mood down. Maybe some red bull will balance that out?

I couldn't believe it when she said she had a teenager, she looked so young! Then I though "ahha, maybe that's why she's a young person's midwife" . She was ace, just what that girl needed. I can't believe she did that all with no pain relief at all, she seemed to be making such a fuss but as she kept on and on refusing pain relief i realised she was just doing it her own way, she was totally amazing.

Waaaaaah I want a baby!
