I'm here!!!

Don't panic, it's not tonight. Every so often we arrange to meet up online and talk rubbish. Not so different from the day-to-day, but with more people. Yes, it sounds naff, but just you wait... it's also oddly satisfying.

I'm here!!!

Well, there's some heavily pregnant ladies dancing the macarena in an attempt to evict babies, & I'm loitering in the kitchen...someone stop me nibbling!

It's been quite sedate so far, I think it's one of those that just goes on and on and you don't realise how messy it could get and then suddenly it's the early hours of the morning...........

I took a short leave of absence to arrange a couple of RL meet ups, I'm back though, wine glass topped up ready to PARTY and wondering where everyone is hiding.
So somehow it happened, my weaners are at school,
I'm still here though and people I'll try to fool,
with tales of advice giving and of wanting to know
But really here's the only place I ever want to go.

RL?
What's that then? It sounds like something BLWers aren;t allowed to do.

I always feel sorry for newbies who come to browse on party night - it must put an awful lot of people off.

Should we set aside a corner for them? We're a friendly bunch, I'm sure they wouldn't be shy for long :D

Good plan Allie :D Maybe with a sign that says "You don't have to be mad to post here, but it helps"

Ok, as a newbie I'm not quite put off...finding it hard to keep up though!

I'm not great at parties where I don''t know anyone so shall carry on loitering in the corner

it is very easy to loiter here - in fact i am going to loiter off to bed! I must confess that i don;t think i would confess to anyone in the outside world (apart from my DH) that i had been to a BLW party. I think that could be a last straw - but it is strangely satisfyingly silly so makes me smile!

I wish I hadn't seen the red wine in the one stop when we went to buy Bananas and custard earlier, I have a busy day tomorrow. But never mind. I'm going to run a bath in a min but will be back once I'm all clean!!! (it takes a while to run so I'll be here a while, gone a while and back again!!)

RheasMummy I do find RL alcohol helps as much as virtual alcohol.

ahhh, RL=Real Life. Slowly getting the idea now. Though i did think that everyone on here must be marginally p*ssed! This is really weird but strangely fun!

I'm virtually p*ssed ;-)

As toothfairy says, a slight case of madness helps...& a vivid imagination!

Anyone got more wine? My glass is empty!
