Coat Check

Don't panic, it's not tonight. Every so often we arrange to meet up online and talk rubbish. Not so different from the day-to-day, but with more people. Yes, it sounds naff, but just you wait... it's also oddly satisfying.

Right H is in bed, although not asleep yet. DP is getting him to sleep then is going to clean the kitchen woop!

Please forgive me if I pick up my book from time to time. When Squeak comes I won't get any reading done for quite some time!

Afraid I'm still in work clothes, maybe I could glam it up with some jewellery or something.

There's some crumble in the oven but just tea to drink - my day today is making me crave a large glass of alcohol but the thought of tomorrow is putting me off! On the other hand, anyone fancy a splash of sloe gin? :D

Why not - it's a party!!!!!
So somehow it happened, my weaners are at school,
I'm still here though and people I'll try to fool,
with tales of advice giving and of wanting to know
But really here's the only place I ever want to go.

I'm wearing a small child (aka Oscar). Does that count?

I'm in my PJs too

I'm about to go and get a Gu chocolate & vanilla cheesecake to make up for the inability to have any alcohol!

Oh - and we're recording the Great British Bake Off, so if you're watching it - no giving away who's kicked out!!!!

Hello. I forgot there was a party

In bed in my jammies, feeding a small boy.
I've brought a plate of fruit scones that R and I made this morning, and a nice pot of tea.

Hi. I just got out of bed....... arrived in my PJ's with a coffee!
Three little chicks, all BLWed. One at school, one a preschooler & one now eating proficiently with cutlery and drinking out of a proper cup.... I guess I don't really belong here any more...? Hehe.

I may need a cup of coffee to keep me going...can you pour me one Alex'smum?

I'm stuck under a cat which is leaving bits of fur all over my swanky little black dress. The heels are on the floor without my feet in...can't walk in the damn things any more!

Phew just made it ... DP is late home from work so I had to cook my own tea! Outrageous :D

Pourig down with rain here so is there anywhere I can dry my brolly? I would have loved to have gotten glammed up but none of my party dresses fit! So here I am in my big, fat clothes!

Did I hear a kettle boiling? I've bought mini cheese & broccoli muffins and some non alcoholic Becks.

Don't do it!! I attempted to wear wedges to a wedding earlier in the year & fell over while standing still...all conversation stopped & everyone stared...I even dropped my gin & tonic :scream (but the lovely barman replaced it). I am now putting off wearing heels until I have no small children & can practice!
