Why would a random Russian guy follow my blog?

He just started following today. It feels kind of creepy. Can I make him become a non-follower? I feel weird enough as it is, having my blog 'out there' but now Russian men are following it, weird!!??

Ha ha, weird! So, should I let this guy follow me? Do I even have a choice? It's creepy, I have 2 little girls!

Do you know anything about him? Maybe he has children too - isn't your blog about the things you do with your girls, often? So maybe he wants ideas for things to do?

I don't think it matters anyway, he's just a faceless person across the Interweb, he can't do anything to you from the other side of a computer screen, whoever he is. Your blog doesn't have a ton of personal information on, does it? So you're probably pretty anonymous/safe..

I don't even know who follows mine! I don't talk about the girls much though, it's almost all work, so I don't care who sees it.
Anyone can see what you put out there though, whether they follow your blog officially or not - I read lots of blogs that I haven't actually clicked 'follow' on. You should make your peace with potential weirdos seeing anything you put on the internet.

This is why I have only just started publicising my blog, I've been writing it for 6 months. I guess I do have to still accept and come to peace with this idea!!!!

Your blog is on the internet, that includes pedophiles, potential customers, crazy teenagers, etc. It's either on the internet or it isn't, and you have to moderate the content assuming the worst. That's why we don't post recognizable photos of our boys online.

Two things about russians/ Ukrainians...
1. They are very interested in the uk
2. They are very interested in children (in a good way) when I am out with my two, I get stopped for endless conversations (some of which I now get the just of) by men and women asking questions about the children, they don't hold back either if they think you are doing something wrong, I am in the wrong an awful lot...
