hi guys, remember that the comments aren't searchable so the best thing to do with recipes is email them to me and i'll post them up formally. i'll transfer this across later but it does mean i can't copy any comments across with it, so they'll be lost.

I have recently taken up BLW on my 8 month old and thought I would pass on my fishcakes recipe for those who would like it - as it has gone down a storm...
Cook in ovenproof dish white fish (haddock/cod etc) in milk until turns opaque (check there are no bones!) (gas mark 5 approx 10-15 mins)
Boil some potatos and mash (no butter /milk needed)
Finely chop some herbs (flat leaf parsley is good - but it is up to you)
Add fish and mash together
Beat an egg and add small amount to mash to bind
Flour your hands and take small amounts of the mixture to make small patties (to stop them from sticking to your hands)
Dip each pattie in the beaten egg and dip in bread crumbs (stale or oven dried if possible)
Place on lightly oiled baking tray and bake in oven gas mark 5 for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden
They have been fantastic, I put them straight in the freezer to keep fresh and take what I need as and when....Enjoy!
In the short time we have been BLW, we have tried Lentil cakes, roasted veggies, penne pasta with fresh pesto and parmasan, gnocchi and tomato/mozarella, beef, chicken, olives, rice cakes, crumpets, panini, tuna sandwiches, eggy bread, toast, humous, pitta bread, dried fruit, fresh fruit and veg...the list is endless...mind you I still spoon feed yogurt and weetabix......oh and ready brek - chicken i know.....
I would really welcome any recipe ideas, as I want to stock the freezer - I am trying bean burgers tomorrow - fingers crossed...
Thanks
